Digital Banking Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: May 2026
These Digital Banking Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of River Valley Community Federal Credit Union’s (“River Valley Community FCU,” “Credit Union,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) digital banking services. By enrolling in or using any digital banking service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Membership and Account Agreement, Fee Schedule, Privacy Policy, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Disclosure, and any other applicable agreements.
Digital Banking Services
Digital Banking may include, but is not limited to:
- Online Banking
- Mobile Banking
- Mobile Deposit Capture (Remote Deposit Capture)
- Bill Pay
- External Account Transfers
- ACH Origination Services
- Card Management (CardHub)
- Apple Pay®, Google Pay™, and other supported digital wallets
- Account Alerts and Notifications
- Credit Score and Financial Wellness tools
- Online Account Opening
- Online Loan Applications
- Future digital services offered by the Credit Union
Additional terms may apply to specific services.
Eligibility
You must be an eligible member in good standing and have an active account with the Credit Union. Certain services may require additional enrollment or approval.
Security
You agree to:
- Protect your username, password, authentication codes, and devices.
- Maintain updated security software on your devices.
- Notify the Credit Union immediately if you believe your credentials have been compromised.
- Log out after each session when using shared or public devices.
You are responsible for all transactions made using your valid authentication credentials until you notify us of unauthorized use.
Electronic Communications
You consent to receive disclosures, notices, alerts, and other communications electronically through Digital Banking, email, SMS, or other electronic means as permitted by law.
It is your responsibility to maintain current contact information with the Credit Union.
Mobile Deposits
If Mobile Deposit is available, you agree that:
- Images submitted must accurately represent the original check.
- Checks must not be altered.
- Checks may only be deposited once.
- You will securely retain the original check for the period specified by the Credit Union and then destroy it.
- The Credit Union may reject any deposit at its discretion.
- Funds availability may be delayed according to our Funds Availability Policy.
Bill Pay
If enrolled in Bill Pay:
- You are responsible for entering accurate payment information.
- Payments should be scheduled sufficiently in advance of due dates.
- Scheduled payments may be canceled only as permitted by the Bill Pay service.
- The Credit Union is not responsible for late fees caused by insufficient lead time or incorrect information provided by you.
External Transfers and ACH
You authorize the Credit Union to process electronic transfers that you initiate.
You are responsible for:
- Verifying account ownership.
- Ensuring sufficient available funds.
- Providing accurate routing and account information.
The Credit Union may reject or delay any transfer for security, fraud prevention, or regulatory reasons.
Card Controls and Digital Wallets
If you use CardHub or digital wallet services:
- Card controls may not prevent all transactions.
- Digital wallet transactions remain subject to Visa®, Mastercard®, network rules, and Credit Union policies.
- You are responsible for protecting devices enrolled in digital wallet services.
Credit Score and Financial Wellness Services
Digital Banking may provide access to credit score monitoring, financial education, personalized recommendations, and related services through third-party providers.
Information presented is for educational purposes and does not constitute a loan approval or guarantee of credit.
Alerts and Notifications
Account alerts are provided as a convenience.
The Credit Union does not guarantee delivery of alerts due to circumstances beyond our control, including mobile carrier delays, internet outages, or device settings.
Members remain responsible for monitoring account activity.
Availability
Digital Banking services are generally available 24 hours a day but may be unavailable because of:
- Scheduled maintenance
- System upgrades
- Network interruptions
- Security events
- Circumstances beyond the Credit Union’s control
Third-Party Services
Some Digital Banking features are provided through third-party service providers.
The Credit Union is not responsible for failures or interruptions caused by third-party providers beyond our reasonable control.
Fees
Fees applicable to Digital Banking services are disclosed in the Credit Union’s current Fee Schedule.
The Credit Union reserves the right to modify fees after providing any required notice.
Termination
The Credit Union may suspend or terminate Digital Banking services immediately if:
- Fraud or suspected fraud occurs.
- Security is compromised.
- This Agreement is violated.
- Required by law or regulation.
Members may discontinue use at any time by notifying the Credit Union.
Amendments
The Credit Union may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time as permitted by law. Continued use of Digital Banking after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Limitation of Liability
The Credit Union shall not be liable for losses caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including communication failures, internet outages, equipment failures, acts of God, governmental actions, or delays caused by third-party providers.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Arkansas.
